Holiday clubs code of conduct
At Spanish Singing, we aim to create a fun, respectful, and safe environment where everyone can enjoy learning Spanish through singing, games, and activities. To ensure that all children have a positive experience, we ask that they follow this simple code of conduct.
-
Respect for others
Be kind and respectful to others, including children and adults. Listen carefully and follow instructions during activities. Use polite language and avoid any hurtful or inappropriate words or behaviour. -
Respect for the learning environment
Take care of the materials, equipment, and spaces used during sessions. Help keep the learning environment clean and tidy by putting away your belongings and any materials used. Participate actively but be mindful not to disrupt the learning of others. -
Participation and effort
Try your best in all activities, whether it is singing, games, or other activity sessions. Stay focused and engaged during any group and/or individual sessions. Be open to learning and ask for help when needed. -
Safety
Follow all safety instructions given by adults, including any rules for using equipment or playing games. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself to avoid accidents. Never leave the activity area without permission from the leader or another adult. -
No food sharing
Bring your own food to clubs, but do not share food with others. All food should be nut-free to keep everyone safe. -
Consequences of misbehaviour
If a child behaves inappropriately or does not follow the code of conduct, they will be given a warning. Continued misbehaviour may result in time-out from activities or a discussion with parents/guardians. In serious cases, and as a last resort, we may ask the child (via the parents/guardians) not to attend future sessions. -
